Authenti. Chi-Town food. Pusateris is the real deal in Chicago fare. Real Chicago pizza is not Pizza Uno deep dish. The pizza at Pusateris is authentic old school Chicago style hand- tossed . I’ve heard that Pusateris imports their ingredients from Chicago. These days you can hardly find a genuine Chicago hot dog made with a real Vienna Red Hot (even in Chicago) topped with what can best be described as a salad that includes a whole pickle spear, large chunks of tomato, and bright green relish. Lasagna? Fget about it. There is nothing like it in NY. It must be the imported ingredients that make it decadently delicious. There’s not much seating inside but there is seating al fresco on the deck which is in the back away from traffic. Try it and you’ll see why people come from all over for that reminds them of the time they lived in or visited the Windy City.

My Favorite Pizza. If I could, I would eat here every day of my life. I have never had a bad meal here. I have been a regular since they opened. (I think in 2006?) The Chicago dog is amazing. The pizza is the best I have ever had. The signature sausage is oh so good, but in my opinion the veggie is the best. My wife and I cannot resist the fried zucchini sticks with ranch. If you see a bad review for this place it is no doubt from someone that doesn’t know good food. And I totally agree with chi town guy’s review.
