Really good food. Always fresh. I find that if you get there past 7 pm, even on the weekend, certain sushi is not refilled once it runs out. My biggest complaint, there is one waitress that is VERY rude and nasty. She started out nice when we first started coming here, but every time she would bring the bill she would point out how they have the tip amounts figured at the bottom, specifically 20%. Once she realized we were not going to tip 20% (come on, it’s a buffet) she started acting very nasty towards us. The last time she waited on us, she did not come to our table a single time after bringing water. We therefore left no tip. I was going over my credit card bill and saw a $4 tip was added on. I also found another time when a $4 tip was changed to $6. I guess the moral of the story is: ONLY PAY WITH CASH HERE. DO NOT PAY BY CREDIT CARD.Update: We spoke with manager and showed her our credit card receipts and bills with overcharged tips and she refunded the overcharges. We decided to give them another shot for dinner tonight. We are evidently on the persona non grata list (aka the *hit list). Dirty dishes were allowed to pile up on the table before someone grudgingly came to get them with a scowl. Water was never refilled. We asked once and waitress scowled, said okay, and never returned (as we shall probably not). We have been return customers since they opened, but I guess we are done. Congrats, if you wanted us to stop coming, job is done. Be warned…they act very pleasant to you (they will compliment you, even hug you) until your tip is not up to their standards, then watch out.
Nice lunch selection, buffet sushi very basic, but can’t beat the price. A little too much sauce on the steamtable veggies for me but I have hibachi option. Nice fruit selection. Friendly wait staff.Restaurant is quite clean, with laminate floors (meaning no smelly carpet)–a huge plus for me. Our family lunch party of six will make this our new default location as the decent Asian buffets appear to be an endangered species in this area.
Was so good, couldn’t stop eating. I had a very nice, quiet time. I would rate this as one of the best restaurants in the area, for: 1) high quality food, 2) polite, friendly and quick service and 3) great price! I could not stop eating the food, even after the fourth plate, it was so good. The service was very good: the waitress paid close attention and made me feel welcome, just like eating at a friend’s house. The price is a pleasant surprise: it easily could have been 33% higher, given the quality of dishes and the sheer number of choices. Of special note was the Ramune Japanese soda: that was awesome! For any lover of buffets or Sushi, this restaurant is a must!
