I think this is the best barbecue in the area I really enjoyed their St. Louis Ribs and I really enjoy their pork, sliced pork , and the salad bar are really good ,along with their ice cream at the end of the really amazing meal. I enjoy the hospitality the people are sweet and upbeat and I just love southern pig and cattle.
My daughter went here last night and I got the brisket dinner takeout and it was a joke. Brisket was tough, dry, and burnt, not even enough to make a sandwich with white bread, baked potato was tiny and dried out and inedible, BBQ beans was good, garlic bread was hard and stale. As far as I’m concerned I got robbed of my money and went to bed hungry.
I went with my family to this place because my daughter loves brisket but what I got instead was paper thin slices of fat. I placed two orders and I talk to the manager about this and he brought three pieces of brisket to replace the two orders but when I told them that I wanted more than three pieces because there where two orders they said that if I want to replace the other order they were going to charge me more. What kind of place do that!!! The manager a men it was the worst he should get fire for the type of customer service that he offers that is none, zero customer service. If I could give a 0 star I will. If you want to have your money and time well spend don’t go to this place!!!!
Excellent BBQ, excellent service! I regularly visit and most of the time have the brisket. It’s DELICIOUS. Literally melts in your mouth. The burgers are good too. And the sweet tea..yum. Melanie is an awesome server and always takes great care of us. The kids love the free soft serve for dessert too! So glad to have such a wonderful restaurant in Stuart.
Delicious southern bbq. Very quaint and relaxed setting. The brisket and ribs are delicious. The sauce is sweet and spicy. Make sure you order the homemade corn nuggets, they will change your world. The best bbq restaurant I’ve found in a longtime.
Very Dissappionted ..catered event. We went to a catered event this last weekend that Southern Pig and Cattle CO. Smokehouse and Grille catered….very very disappointed. Have eaten there before and have found meat always cool..not hot….but do like to get sliced pork by the pound and take home. Well, last weekend we went to this catered event from Southern Pig and Cattle…again the meat..pulled pork was cool.not hot and my husband and I both got 1 and half inch bones in our pulled pork..this was bad.,, rolls dry..potato salad ok..I can make better…green beans soggy….mac and cheese, and corn on cob also cold..the children’s hot dogs look good but again buns look dry. .Felt so sorry for our host…Would NEVER do this for party…Who wants COLD FOOD ??????
