Can’t bring children here!!. The foid at this restaurant is well known,and very good they also have been in business for years SO!! Why don’t they provide highchairs for people with children????,only one high chair for the whole restaurant….just not good business sense..very disappointing
Family Owned & Operated.. I ordered a Cuban Sandwich and their black bean soup to-go. The Cuban sandwich was okay, as they use ham/salami instead of ham/pulled pork. The Cuban Sandwich Shop is family-owned and operated since the mid- ’70s, and they pride themselves on large portions for a reasonable price.
1st experience. Went to get a cafe con leche and it tasted pretty good, except at the end. I got to the bottom of the coffee and there was either a coffee filter or paper towel in the bottom of the cup. I HOPE that is what it was. GROSS!
Good food, good prices.. I love the burger here! The breakfast that my lady orders always look tasty also. I walk down everytime I’m at Tampa Hondaland getting an oil change.

Hearty & Well Priced!. Whenever I want a quick, cheap Cuban lunch, I head over to Cuban Sandwich Shop to indulge in their ropa vieja. A meal will put you back only about $8 and comes w/ an entree, rice, beans, and tostones or fried plantains. Also, their breaded steak is a good (although high carb) choice. Great price, great taste, but only a once in a while for me b/c it’s not the healthiest food. But oh so good!
Best authentic Cuban sandwich in Tampa by far. Make sure to order the special which has an extra portion of the sweet Ham
