  This is one of the absolute worst venues I have ever stepped foot in. It is absolutely filthy, dingy, and down right disgusting. This aside, the sound guy is an absolute idiot who has no clue how to run sound propperly!!!!! He blasts everything at about 98-102 decibels!!! Yes. We checked. With three different meters (my husband’s band was playing here. Unfortunately). The decibel readings OUTSIDE of the building were reading 89-95!!! The sound ordinance is 65. I would have called The cops if we hadn’t have had to drive forever to get there in the first place. They told the sound guy specifically not to mic anything but the kick drum and vocals (it is a tiny room), and he micd everything anyway. There was so much feedback (the entire time) you could hardly hear the vocalist. When they asked the sound man mindset to correct it, he didn’t. Not only this, but the music (CDs) played between sets was JUST as loud. Oh let’s not forget that they were supposed to play by 10pm, and they didn’t get to go on until about 12:35am. As I write this I literally have hot liquid pouring out d both of my ears. I’ll most likely be suing or billing them for my ear drum bursting. Idiots.
