This place WAS awful. We had a groupon and they were very irritated that we only had three people for a groupon for four. We told them that we would buy four entries and appetizers – but the owner came out and started to tell us to leave his restaurant and that I was low-class. I could not believe how he spoke to me in front of my children. He obviously does not like women who stand up for themselves. He would not even give me any food for the face value of the Groupon (which is required) because he acted like a big shot and told me to leave. We were leery of the place due to the location and outside of the building – strip mall and worn down. Probably a store-front for other activity…and since we were women without out burkas and men accompanying us – he treated us with obvious disdain. Unbelievable. Please DO NOT GO here and support this type of misogyny.
It is a simple place, not one of the fancy Persian restaurants. Soft Persian music playing in the background, and a few Persian pictures on the wall. You come here for the food mostly, though, and you won’t be disappointed. Chelokabab soltani is good. Kabob is nicely cooked. Portions are on the smaller side as far as Persian food goes, but just enough. I wouldn’t go too far out of the way to get here, but if nearby, go there.
