Scared? Yea. Best food i had in tampa? Yea.. The location of this place scared me. But the food was GREAT. Southern style fried, fresh seafood that was amazing. Very friendly staff ad well. Has both a restaurant and fish market so you know its fresh. Hush puppies were they only thing that weren’t great, they were nasty.
Looking for Conch Fritters got better!!. Actually looking for Hillsborough High School for a soccer game. I saw this place & thought since I had been craving Conch Fritters, I would accomplish both… get directions & satisfy that conch craving. I love this place!! The people are friendly, the food is GREAT! Insteasd of Conch fritters I got Conch… the real deal! I will be back!! (They did an awesome job with the directons as well!)
Bad food. The food was terrible!!!. Even worse, when I called to place my order from the Menu on the net, I was told that the Menu had not been updated, and the items were $1 more. When I arrived, I was charged $2 more. I paid, but I pointed out that the Menu on the counter also had a different price. The flounder was dry and over cooked. The hushpuppies tasted like a ball of meal (tasteless). I could continue, but my meal was a wash. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Riverside and/or 40th Street Seafood.The cashier was very nice.
I had the tilapia platter with hush puppies and fried okra. It was simple, straightforward and delicious. Service was friendly and quick.
They are the best in customer service, food and environment. I have been a loyal customer for the last 10 yrs. Love it there.
Riverside seafood has probably the best seafood in Tampa nah man probably even in America. Their food is great and is always fresh they are really freindly and their prices are the best. Every time I go there I order about $40-50 worth of food and now that they have a grill for grilled fish man it’s the best u can have. If I was hungry riverside would be the first place that would come to my mind
Nestled next to the Hillsborough River is Riverside, where the Dungeness Crab is prepared to perfection with a garlic butter glaze and Old Bay seasoning makes for a wonderful meal.
