My steak was ok but I have never saw a filet with grizzle and fat my asparagus was rubbery my husband got oryster on the had shelf was sandy and gritty or not clean he also got baby lobster pasta and Alfred sauce the pasta was under cooked baby lobster was over cooked never eat there again our waiter David was the only thing good dude

Great fresh lobsters every Tuesday! The clam chowder is out of this world!
Great Seafood – Small Price. This is the second restaurant for Shells, the first (and original) being located on Dale Mabry. I had a very nice lunch there which consisted of the fried fish, new potatoes (substituted for fries) and a side of slaw. All this for only $5.98 or $6.40 with tax. Their signature dish is Shrimp Pasta with a wonderful white wine and cream sauce. I’ve had this for lunch on a prior occasion and it was excellent. However, I am still trying to get used to the taste of farm-raised shrimp which is not exactly the same as fresh caught native shrimp. The only negative from this reviewer is the presentation of the meal. For lunch, the items are served in plastic and cardboard containers which really distract from the quality of the food. I just hope that dinner is served on real dishes! Also, I have always received great service with the food arriving in a timely fashion. All-in-all Shells is a very nice experience and I would recommend that you give it a try.
