Worst Indian ever!! He service guy was sleazy and rude. The food was greasy and there were few vegetarian options. The decor was dated and even the water had weird taste. I’m not sure if it was just this day or if it is like this in general. I am from out of town and I was just going there for some comfort food. Looking around I see that there are large chain restaurants such as Panera jimmy johns Panda Express etc. overall I do not recommend
Best food and good service. We went there for the lunch buffet and the place was preety full with people.the food was great with much selection of vegetarian food .the price was affordable.the service was great with the atmosphere.the place is near to usf.
Not up to old standard. At one time, Taj was the place to go for a really nice evening of good Indian food. I recently took someone there for a birthday dinner. The service was very slow which was odd since we were almost alone in the restaurant. We had to ask repeatedly for food. I will not go there again. Way too expensive for medium food and less than interested service.
AMAZING!! Had the chicken tikka masala and it was so good my boyfriend was helping me eat it as well as his own delicious lobster curry!! If I’m ever in Tampa again, I will be back here!!
Good food and service. The food is the best in the town .lunch brunch was awesome and good.different selection of veg and nonveg variety of food .the mango lassi was good.the waiters and other staff was extra attentive professional .I would recommend my girlfriend and my other friends to go there and try indian food.I have been to other places in tampa and in florida nothing like taj . taj is still the best in terms of food quality ,ambience and selection .the butter chicken is the best in florida. the new menu offers much more variety in the taste ,different meat items .and mouth savoury appetizers to aplease us.best of luck
I wouldn’t suggest anyone go here if they want good Indian food. The waiter, at least according to my friends and me, seemed very haughty and uninterested. The food, on the other hand, was not spiced enough and overcooked. The rice was very undercooked to the point where some bites it was crunchy. I, again, would not recommend this place. If this helps, we went to dinner on a weekday. Who knows, maybe this place is better during lunch time or the weekend?
Definite decline. My husband and I used to go here on a regular basis because of the excellent food, but the quality of the service and food have dramatically declined. Very sad to see. Luckily, there are now other options in the local area and will check them out.
