A hidden gem – go there for that beautiful smoked bone marrow or for a long variety of beers. The outdoor patio is a lovely spot for dinner with friends or date night.

A perfect atmosphere complementing a perfect meal. I sat at the bar and had cordial attentive service. So what about the food? Excellent!! The cold beet soup had a delicate consistency. My favorite. Garnished with fennel, egg, chive that enhance the subtle flavor of the soup. Also the quail. Delicious! Fig pumpkin and perfectly cooked quail what more could you ask for in a meal. Well I went for more, The burger. Claimed as best burger in tampa it did not meet my expectations. The. Chickpea hash and jalapeos are a nice addition but the burger itself lacked that juicy goodness that makes a burger. This place is excellent ambience, service and food check it out and you will not be disappointed. Also you will be contributing to a sustainable, responsible, local effort in food service.

My husband and I have made the drive to this place since it opened and the food is always fun and interesting, the servers are always smiling and knowledgable when suggesting beers or food. If you haven’t been please go and try out the rooftop bar!

Refinery Birthday Dinner. I took my husband there for his birthday. We had the mahi mahi special and the hanger steak. Both were delicious. We had two great beers to go with it. Dessert was ok. We should have skipped it and had another beer. The atmosphere was as advertised…relaxed. We made a reservation, and it is a good thing we did because the dinning room was completely booked and the rooftop was full. People were definitely being turned away at the door. I wish we could have sat on the rooftop for dinner. Next time.

We eat on the rooftop overlook and enjoy the laid back but intricate constructed delights. Greg is a fabulous chef and this our favorite place to dine in Tampa. Come super casual and expect the unexpected. Umm, so yummy!
