Great Food, New LocationThe Refinery recently moved from its smaller location down the street. The new place, where Fodder & Shine used to be, is all cement floors and exposed ceilings and utilities. Not cozy, but fine. The staff is pleasant and helpful. We started with a few of the house cocktails which were quite good. Then the four of us shared 6 of the small plates and 2 entrees. All were delicious. I would only say that some of them, especially the charred cauliflower, were quite a small portion. Cauliflower is pretty cheap. Just 4 small pieces for $11 is poor value. For entrees we shared the Smoked BBQ Mushrooms. The flavor was great but the mushrooms were a bit tough. The Pork Bourguignon was very good.I would go again. I would just hope that some of the portions are a little more appropriate for the price.
