Bad bad. The place is beautiful but the food and service is bad… The runner does not know how to serve you strip the dishes on the table … The margaritas are really bad. not recommend the place.
We loved this place! Very attentive service!! Happy hour was a steal at half prices draft and killer margaritas! The appetizers were reduced too. Beef tacos sooo good. We will be back for sure!
We got seated quickly and then forgotten. Sat there for 30 minutes with various staff wandering around so finally left without even giving a drink order. The place wasn’t even busy, not going back.
The best steak fajitas! Try it, you can’t go wrong!
Everything was great! The service, the food, and the atmosphere! Our server was so friendly, the presentation was very nice, and everything was extremely clean.
My husband Eduardo, my son Willie and me Grace, were delighted, we enjoyed the excellent service, the presentation, the place, and most of all, the delicious food!!We’ll come back for sure!Grace Castillo.
Satisfied with tacos at D’Tako. Had a late lunch the other day at D’Tako Market and ordered the tacos. I had fish tacos and my guest had shrimp and fish. For $9.95 you get 3 tacos along with refried black beans, rice and pico de gallo. They have several different preparations for the meats (fish, shrimp, steak, chicken, and pork carnitas) that include light fried, anchiote, grilled, deep fried, and Michoacan and choice of wrappers: soft corn or flour or hard shell corn tortilla and you can mix and match with the different styles. For my fish I tried a light fried and grilled. The fried fish was tilapia and the grilled fish was mahi mahi (although the menu nor the waiter disclosed they would be different kinds of fish). My guest also tried the grilled shrimp. We all agreed it was nice to have the variety of choices and the ability to mix and match. Actually, I was pleased that my tacos had different types of fish since the light fried with tilapia was moist and delicate while the heavier mahi stood up better for grilling.Overall tacos were good and satisfying. The only downside was the sausa that came with the chips. It was pureed into a sweet but rather bland sauce. Neither of us really cared too much for it. Not very spicy (at all) and void of traditional mexican flavors – I think a little garlic and cilanto would help. Also, we very much prefer chunkier sausa with chips.Every table gets charged an automatic 18% gratuity.Since this is a new restaurant we want to come back and try some of the other dishes. The ceviches are $12, the traditional mexican plates are $12-$18, and the entres are $19-$25. We have not tried the margaritas yet, they start at $9.50 and up. Roughly, an entre + margarita + tax + tip comes to about $45 per person.
