  Worst customer service ever!!!! even being called the n word by the guy who said he was the owner???. We left for gelato tonight while on vacation because my 4 and 6 year old wanted ice cream. when we arrived at the dolce vita in sunny isle we were greeted by a young man who acted as if we were dirt… my 4 year old ordered gelato and the guy literally dropped it over the counter at him. when it hit the floor he acted as if it was my child’s fault???? really a 4 year old seriously???? he then took the ice cream scooper and thru it across from where he was standing out of frustration rolling his eyes. i could not believe what i was seeing but did not want to ruin it for my kids… i kept telling myself maybe he is just having a bad day. then my babysitter who is sweet as can be was trying to decide what she wanted and he started getting irritated. my husband seeing what was going on nicely asked the guy why he was being so rude. he called him a n!g,r and told him to get the f..k out of his store. i was in shock. i told him why is he acting like this with a 4 year old he is a little kid and his answer was so what get the f..k out of my store. my husband took $20.00 and put it on the counter even though we did not eat the gelato we left it and the psychotic guy with the short brown spiked hair, proceeded to rip the money into pieces. i am not sure that someone with so much hate should be allowed to deal with the public especially when serving their food. i am also a business owner and i can’t believe that this is how they treat the customers here. i honestly think this guy is out of control and needs help!!! the good that came out of this seemingly terrible experience is that we found a new ice cream place in the very next plaza called tasti d.lite. the owner is so nice he not only came out to hand my child the ice cream, he later came to the table with crayons and paper for my kids to color a picture for him to hang on his wall. wow what a difference!!! i also saw him carry another ladies kids ice cream all the way outside so the kid wouldn’t drop it. tasti d. lite is kosher certified and is all natural low in calories, fat, and sugar with no artificial ingredients. i guess everything happens for a reason we found our new favorite ice cream place and its healthier for my family…
