Its Amore @ IL Mulino NY- Miami. Located inside the beautiful Aqualina Resort in Sunny Isles, IL Mulino NY takes you back to old school fine dining. John the Matre dean is incredibly welcoming, like visiting an old friend. With lovely water views from the veranda, the elegant yet comfortable atmosphere will make you feel at home while instigating romance in the air. All dishes are made to order, homemade pastas, fresh seafood and wonderful desserts. Check out the early bird specials for an amazing deal. From start to finish this is a classic example of elegant, romantic and sophisticated dining.

Feel compelled to add updated review- had special celebration with excellent service and good food. Expensive , yes but worth it for the view( before sunset), service and ambiance. Food is good- Fresh, beautifully presented & tasty.
Eggplant Rollatini. Great option for a light entree, fresh and good flavors!08 Jan, 2011Tiramisu. It’s homemade, always fresh, soft flavors and light! Love it!08 Jan, 2011Caprese Salad. They serve a real caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil and balsamic vinegar! It’s to die for!08 Jan, 2011Romantic and unforgettable experience!. This is one of my favorites italian restaurants, the food is always good, the portions are huge and the complete experience makes you feel like you are a queen! The service is incredible, I have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner and everyone that works there is super kind, plus you have like 3 servers per table, theydon’t let your drinks to go under half of the cup, as soon as you sit they start bringing different appetizers that are complementary, there is no place like this one! The location is also great, the ocean view makes it super romantic even during the day! My favorite plates are Eggs benedicts for breakfast, porcini ravioli for lunch or dinner and the sabayone with berries for dessert. Oh and the coffees are delicious… Also during the night if you are lucky the Maitre’D will visit your table and offer you his homemade Grappa for a perfect ending! This is not a cheap normal italian place, is a fancy place with amazing food but most importanly outstanding service! I will go here everytime I can! It’s perfect for a romantic dinner, family celebration or just to relax with a cup of coffee and dessert! You won’t be dissapointed!08 Jan, 2011Porcini Revioli with Champagne Truffle. Incredible dish!
Gustavo-ini. Not much needs to be said. Our 7-inch by 2-inch by 1-centimeter high snapper dish was $44. Yes, a tropical snapper for $44, not snapper shipped from Japan or bluefin tuna for $44. But a tiny scrap of tropical snapper for $44 served by Gustavo, a low class arrogant server who’s more suited to serve toilet paper in a Motel 6 bathroom. Done.
One of the worst. When I dined at Il Mulino of New York quite some time ago with two others, my experience was horrendous. I didn’t write about it because I thought it must be a fluke as I heard others like it so much. But now that I’ve read Evelina’s review, her experience was almost identical to ours. Service was horrid. I ordered a special and very expensive wine and the bussboy or assistant waiter topped off our glasses with a completely different cheap wine from another table. When we mentioned it to our waiter, he just shrugged. Our entrees were inedible. When we asked to see a manager, no manager ever visited our table. At the prices this place charges, they should be shut down. I can’t believe they can stay in business.
Rip Off Prices. Especialy now, when we’re in a recession, rip off prices are an outrage!
