Not my favorite. Great location and nice atmosphere … but the food does not live up to the restaurant appearance. Went for dinner, ordered based upon the waiter’s recommendations and the food was not memorable or different, in fact quite average. Also, they have a very limited wine list if you enjoy great wines.
I visited the Lul Grill Cafe recently because of a friend’s suggestion. I sit down and look at the menu and absolutely love what is in it. The atmosphere is very chill, everything is very clean, all pleasant to my eyes. The service was as quick as it could be, since everything seemed very fresh and prepared on the spot. I ordered a falafel pita and absolutely loved it because it wasn’t greasy and the ingredients tasted fresh. I got to try one of my friend’s spinach bourekas and they were amazing. They also had this very spicy, mustard looking sauce that came with some chips as an appetizer courtesy of the house that was DElICIOUS. I will come back for sure and ask if they can sell me that sauce.

When I asked the waiter he said that’s what it is for what I ordered.-second time, waited 45 minutes for the appetizer; one ordered main course (burger) came after other meals were finished after another 45 minute wait. The advertised 12 oz rib steak was really a 6 oz. fast fry ie thin and not particularly tender for a 27.95 item very very disappointed with service, attitude, and quality
I’ve eaten here twice. The first time the food was good buy over priced and they add a $3 service charge if you share. The second time I waited for 30 minutes and the server didn’t look at us once. We didn’t even get a glass of water. We walked out and went to a Russian restaurant next door and it rocked. At Lul the food is so over priced for a little hole in the wall diner.
LUL- DONT MISS OUT!!!. The Lul is an excellent restaurant. I’ve been a big fan from the beginning. And now it has achieved recognition as one of the more successful restaurants in Miami…From great food to its exciting and lively atmosphere, don’t pass up the chance to dine late night…I highly recommend it!!!
Variety I can live with.. A side from the futball on TV (soccer) all-the-time… The menu has plenty of choices to suit your appetite and budget. I’ve been in a number of times and have been impressed mostly by the authentic flavors in every dish I’ve tried.
Sales. I went to the lul at 1 am it was it was packed with people, the food was great, my favorite was the MUKPATZIM which is like a stir-fry, every thing was fresh and made to order on the spot.
