While staying in Surfside this restaurant was recommended as the best sushi, given the name figured it would be a fusion menu but being we love both tapas & sushi let’s give it a try. Lets preface this as we are from the Northeast & have many great sushi restaurants and would not really consider this place a sushi restaurant it’s maki. Their rolls are unique combinations, presented beautifully & are tasty. We ordered the El Miamito & Komodo which was a new addition listed with spicy tuna but not spicy at all (which actually for whimps like me is fine though my husband likes a kick). We tried two dishes off the hot tapas which were delicious, the Chilean sea bass dumplings & Nitro Scallops. Service was very friendly though tables are very tight you practically dining with the people next to you. The location is great in the happening strip of Surfside & this upbeat mood is certainly felt in the restaurant.
