Had great time at Backyard. Ate there last night for first time with my wife and friend. Food was fantastic – I got the ribs, the wife fried chicken and friend skirt steak and we all sampled each other’s dinner. All tasty, moist and delicious. Place was packed but service was fine. They did somehow not record my reservation but it was not a problem since started at bar and moved to table when it opened up. Will definitely go back again. They gave us complimentary wine for reservation mess up – nice touch.
Tasteless waste of time.
AMAZING. Favorite restaurant! Prices are so cheap for food this good. Service is quick and the waiters are more than competent. The overall vibe is just great, I recommend everyone to eat here but make sure to make a reservation 🙂
Surfside Sadness. I went for lunch and the only true BBQ item was a chopped brisket sandwich. The brisket appeared to be out of a container. They do not have mac n’ cheese nor do they have sweet tea, 2 BBQ staples. Most importantly they do not have any pork. Don’t go to Backyard BBQ if your looking for a cheeseburger either. They won’t put cheese on your burger. People who are giving this restaurant good reviews either work there, know the owner or can’t eat real BBQ for religious reasons.
A Superb Meal!. We had an amazing dinner out with friends the other night at The Backyard BBQ in Surfside. My husband is serious about his BBQ and makes a point to eat in a real BBQ joint in every place we go. He said this was hands-down the best one yet. I loved the ambiance, the atmosphere, the service and, OF COURSE, the outstanding. Everyone found something they liked (even my picky eaters) and it was just a night full of great food and great fun. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!
I’m obsessed with the backyard. I love love love this restaurant. Had the most amazing ribs I have ever had. I am thrilled that they opened near me. My husband and I have gone here twice a week since opening. Tip: It is always packed so try and get a reservation or come early.
