This place sucks! We have given it numerous chances. Always the same result! This white haired OLD lady waitress who’s too busy showing her pictures to the customers and being a social butterfly didn’t tell us they were out of a plate we order. Instead brought out something else. Didn’t bring me my Coke, because she was too busy talking. Out of water had to ask various times. When the Coke arrived the ice was melted! We had been coming here since the opened this restaurant but for the last couple of years we’ve been going to other Cuban places with better food and definitely better service! This has not just happened with her but we have had the unpleasant experience of having to deal with her! WeCome here ever night for our Cafecito but probably won’t be eating here anymore.
I have been to this specific location twice now. The 1st was a Sunday and it was very busy. This time it was a Tuesday evening and it as not very crowded. I’ve eaten at various Cuban eateries across Miami and this one is a favorite. The pork chops (Cuban style) are rather good. The black beans are very good and worth the trip on their own. My wife believes that the croquettes are the best in Miami. I would easily find myself there again.
