  Came here to try their $5.85 lunch special since so many Yelp reviewers seemed to love it and was not disappointed! Upon arriving, I noticed the place was pretty packed with an older crowd for lunch on a week day. Even so, I was seated immediately and promptly ordered from their two options (for that day’s daily lunch special) the Chicken Parmesan while my boyfriend ordered the other, Baked Ziti. All specials are accompanied with tasty garlic bread and a small salad. Since my boyfriend loves anchovies, he also ordered the Anchioves Piemento as an appetizer which he really enjoyed, claiming it was uniquely fresh. My chicken parmesan was large, crispy, and delicious. The baked ziti was equally good and covered in a cheese heaven! Both meals were superb for the humble price and I will definitely recommend this place to FIU students or anyone looking for a fulfilling meal on the dime!   Not bad for a whole in the wall. The food was decent but a little bland, but the service was excellent and te price was cheap

  Extremely authentic, best Italian I’ve had since moving to Florida. We were a bit worried when we got the side salad which was just lettuce on a plate. However, the dressing more than made up for it. We were given complimentary fried eggplant with a cream prosciutto sauce. The chicken francese was phenomenal, and the Marsala was memorable. Definitely try the red sauce, it was beautiful. Gracious service, cozy atmosphere – definitely recommended. We’ll beback 🙂
