Sunday is Hell. You go during thee week and is fine, there is the owner sometimes present and the service is fast, courteous, on Sunday the owner is not in, three girls they spend all the time chattering with men’s seeing thru the window, they ignored the clients, last Sunday I had to wait 45 minutes for a steak sandwich, I left no apologies given, why the delayed, another couple left also, furthermore one of the girl the one that was handling the register had a bad attitude, when I asked for the bill I had consumed only a Coke she was nasty and had an arrogant attitude

I love this place . . . .. Munchies is next door to the beauty salon I go to, and a few feet away from Home Depot. I love this place. I especially like to go for breakfast, and usually have the same thing: huevos rancheros with ham and papas de la casa (their version of homestyle diced potatoes). I recently tried one of their guava pastries. Now I dream of them. I never eat pastries anywhere because they either have too much pastry and not enough filling, or other reasons. These are made in-house and they are wonderful. There’s a lot of regulars and it’s busy, so I am not concerned with the food not being fresh enough because of lack of traffic. My only issue is that the owner will not share the recipe for the potatoes!!!

I usually eat a snack and order coffee on my way to Home Depot. The water cooler contained debris of some sort and I voiced this politely to the woman behind the counter. Instead of thanking me she felt insulted and unbelievably blamed the ice and the fact she had not time to change it! She then walked away to chat with someone else. Won’t eat there again, that’s for sure.
