Exactly what we were looking for on our drive back up from Homestead to SW FL. We had rice and pork with plantains. The serving was so large that two of us shared the meal and still had left overs. Great value and delicious.
This cuban place, which already has 8 locations in Miami, is a mixture of a restaurant, a fruit shop and a takeout place. The amount of food they serve is massive, a single portion is enough for two people and most of their dishes include fried food. They stand out more for quantity than quality; yet it is a place in Miami to be visited, but not for those in quest of a gourmet experience. Stop here for anything. Whether you need a quick snack, fresh squeezed juice, full meal, or some fresh produce, this place has it all. Note: english is a second language here, but they will work with you if you try a few spanish words.
