This place has gone down hill. The food has gotten too greasy and the prices keep going up. The waiters and staff aretoo old and bitter to be bother to take your order and the place hasn’t even gotten a coat of paint in 30 years theyve been open. Disappointing decline for a former icon. Just drive right by.

This is the best Cuban food in Miami over 45 years serving food in the same way the breaded steaks is my favorite huge feeds 2 with left overs comes with a heaping amount of French fries covering the steak served with a salad and your choice of black beans or sweet plantaines five stars
Great standard home cooked Cuban fare. A comfortable family restaurant
Had the super palomilla steak which is their signature dish even though it tasted good the steak itself was not of good quality meat. I think I will try them out again but will probably order the smaller one as in my experience are usually better.
Don’t know why others say the fries aren’t good cuz I love them. Huge portions for a very good price. Most of the time me & my wife order 1 plate and are stuffed with left-overs. Staff is nice but the English language is a mystery here.
