Was in the area looking for some lunch and decided to seek out Thai for my boyfriend who was pretty sick at the time but craving spicy food. I had heard about their lunch specials and decided to order the Spicy Bamboo $8.95 with chicken. I asked for it very spicy since I come from a Thai household and have to say that it matched my expectations though the dish did not wow me. It came with a tiny mediocre soup that really just tasted like leftover chicken broth with floating cabbage in it. The egg roll that came with it was also pretty insignificant. My boyfriend ordered the Tom Kha soup which was tiny and far from what I would’ve expected. He did enjoy the flavor though but did feel that it was lacking in size or the waitress should’ve told us that it was a small portion since he ordered it as his entree. The experience there was very undistinguished. I did appreciate the portion size and if I found myself wanting Thai in the area would consider the lunch special again to be cost effective.
