Check this spot out. I was here two years ago to get some food and was back in town to get some food at my fav indian spot. i checked the reviews here here and most were positive but checked these last two reviews and felt they were written by the same person.i have worked in the biz and some people will always be diff to please.the place was packed and the food was good the mutton is off the chain.i have eaten at many restaurants all the way on the eastern coast this mutton is probably up there.the service was pretty good. i saw they had people helping in both spanish and englsh which was abig plus specially for the spanish speaking people of the neighborhoodoverall a very good experience i strongly recommend27 Dec, 2011Holiday lunch. Came back to the 305 for the holidays, got a few groceries and some lunch to go . the have a good home cooked taste, very affordable prices and good prices very important for a student like me. samosas were very good too overall a good indian joint without any bells and whistles

Pathetic Experience. Recently I have been to this place for a quick dinner. The food was really bad and felt it is age old stuffs. The owner refused to take a return and behaved very rude to me. There is no respect or curtsy for Indians in this shop. Such a rudest shop owner I had ever seen. Don’t waste your time and money in this shop. He doesn’t know how to treat a customer and only American customers will be happy with him. He is so shameless and partial to Indians. People think it is cheap but it is not cheap compared to other shops nearby. You can go through the list of reviews here and see none of the Indians give good review. Only the American customers give good review because he treats them only special. Owner is so sick.

Just okay. The customer service sucks… and it’s a shame cause it’s one of the few places here in MIA that has Indian groceries. I don’t care how much i want that samosa or that vindaloo mix If I go to a place and I’m treated like I’m not even there I’m not gonna buy anything.

Not a restaurant!!!!!!!. Drove from work to find out that it is not a real restaurant, no tables just a counter with bar chairs at the back of an Indian grocery store. Did not try the food tough.

Kind of scary for Indian…. Kind of intimidating for someone who has never tried Indian, so I got samosas and chicken samosas with a sweet sauce to go. They were really tasty but not overwhelmingly spicy. And not so greasy at all which was a big plus.

Spice n Curry was a great little find, especially in this part of Miami. Don’t expect a sit down situation-it’s a cafeteria tucked away at the back of an Indian grocery store. Great homestyle curries, cheap and quick. And great naan. Definitely will be going back for takeout.
