Sorry but Angelette’s Cajun Kitchen has closed permanently. I updated the restaurant info and also posted a review earlier that they had closed but it was removed for some reason.
Our group tried soup and sandwiches, gumbo and shrimp and all of it was good. Have experienced shrimp at many places but Angelette’s was unique. Would certainly go back when in the area.
After seeing this place rated as a 5 star restaurant I expect a lot more. I wouldn’t compare the cajun food to NOLA where some people have. Average food and a little pricey. Wouldn’t rank this place as #2 though.
I’ve been here many times and have never been disappointed. My co-workers love it when I surprise them with hot beignets from Angelet’s.
