Extremely overrated. Ordered crab Rangoon and curry chicken. I watched as they pulled a plastic bag filled with frozen crab Rangoon out of a deep freezer and plopped them into a fried. Tasted terrible. The curry chicken was equally dissapointing. Bad sauce and chicken. Veggies were ok. I have NO IDEA why everyone raves about this place….
Simply the best!. After reading some positive reviews on here, I decided to give Bamboo Wok a go– I’ve been thanking myself ever since! The food is extremely fresh, always hot, and prepared in an open, clean kitchen. The young lady at the counter is always pleasant and was happy to explain to me the various menu items. I highly suggest the sweet and sour chicken, and the fried dumplings– they will not disappoint!

Sauces tend to be sweet rather than salty. Fast prep. Cooking done in visible, clean area. A little more expensive than very good Chinese take-out to south on Blair Stone, e.g. tofu costs extra with vegetables. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff not friendly, but efficient.
God this place is overrated. Bad customer service skills and worse food. My general tso was equivalent to fried crow meat tossed in corn syrup and ketchup. Makes Mr. Roboto’s look like Kobe Steakhouse.
Just moved to Tally and have been in search of good Chinese food. I compare based on pork fried rice and wonton soup. Right now Bamboo Wok is tops on my list and better than China Wok. Ready to try more.
