If you want a good pie I would say don’t come here, it’s decent price for pizza and there cheese Kiddie was alright. But don’t expect to much. I wish gumbys had a diner. Would make them 10x more money

With all the Pizza options in town I must admit, this is my favorite. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Tallahassee and continues to produce the best tasting pizza in town.

An old favorite in Tallahassee. This is one of the oldest restaurants in town and is an Iconic part of Tallahassee. You have to try it at least once. They have a great braided crust. Plus it isn’t just pizza. Good family fun.

Attitude. Bad attitude and rude … and when we asked to talk to the manager … she said she was the manager. Customerv service at its finest … NOT!

Not your everyday pizza. I’ve been eating at Barnaby for 35 years. I can see why some people knock on it. Its not your typical pizza (Dominos/PIzza Hut). It is their own style. Maybe it’s an acquired taste. I happen to love it. It’s the first restaurant we took our son too when he was old enough to leave the house after he was born. (Riccardo’s was his next stop, who also has excellent pizza.) If you haven’t been you owe it to yourself to at least order a $7 mini and try it and see. I recommend a sausage and pepperoni.

Dark, pure 70’s kitsch, like your neighbors basement rumpus room, but with really good food. Good pizza, fantastic ribeye sandwich and about the only place left in town where you can get fried chicken with your meat sauced spaghetti. Used to be a standard on every local eatery’s menu—as it should be. Try it!

Nostalgia is powerful. It seems like everyone that loves Barnaby’s pizza grew up with it. I get it, nostalgia is a powerful thing. Many locals defend Barnaby’s with great passion.I, however, didn’t grow up with it. Thoughts from lunch with a friend: 1. The interior needs a revamp. Whether it’s clean or not, it doesn’t feel clean when sitting there.2. The two counter thing is annoying to me. Why can’t I pay for a drink with a credit card too?3. Barnaby’s pizza is odd. It’s obvious they care about it because they take the time to twist the crust, but it ends up as a thin but brittle crust. Crumbly is the best way I can describe it. There is no chewiness to it, which was unexpected based on the look of it. The pizza sauce is thin and leans on the bitter side. The cheese was plentiful and the toppings were fine. williamkristoph.com
