I came here under the recommendation of a friend. I do not regret it at all. The food and service are ready. Nothing to complain about. – Ansel Ponce Diama
Visiting in town, was seeking a nice quiet Italian meal. This spot ended up being more of a quasi-bar scene, quite loud, much more so than expected.I had eggplant parmigiana, which proved to be several wafer thin slices of eggplant stacked with sauce and cheese. Net result was 60% breading, 40% eggplant and sauce. Hard to know the eggplant was there unless you really looked.Menu was very rigid, no room for sauce substitutions or the like. All very inflexible. That’s atypical of most small Italian restaurants, which pride themselves in accommodating guests. Waitress was ok, but had too many tables to be truly focused.Last straw was I was seated by a door that let in tons of cigarette smoke every time it was opened; smoking obviously allowed in outside dining area.I guess a good time could be had here with a group, but definitely not you typical quiet and authentic Italian restaurant. Rating was very misleading for me.
Had a fantastic dinner here on our second night in Tallahassee. Restaurant had a great atmosphere inside with excellent service despite what others seem to have experienced. My chicken parmesan was excellent with a very large portion of chicken, and my wife really enjoyed her manicotti! Highly recommend giving them a try if you get the chance!
Delicious Italian food served by friendly staff in an artsy, cozy little restaurant. Kitchen makes substitutions if you like (marinara instead of alfredo on the cannelloni). Prices are on par with competing chain restaurants. Bread, pasta and salad were all very flavorful and fresh. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone craving good Italian food.
Authentic home made food here. Their pasta is made in house, and you can tell. The manicotti is the best I’ve had at a restauraunt. Their menu is variable and seasonal as well , which is nice.
