I’ve been frequenting this place since I found it on Railroad Avenue last year & I’m not even a vegan or vegetarian (but I am into healthy food).. This quaint little spot with friendly staff, alternating local art, coffee from Catalina, & a co-op attached will leave you smiling from the creative, yummy flavors. The tofu banh mi is WONDERFUL, & you can ask for it on a whole wheat bun but the French baguette it comes on otherwise is made in-house & is awesome.. Quiche is always good & alternating ingredients.. Never had anything bad here. Great vibes. Great service. My only wish is that they were more reliably with answering their phone for pick-up.
Bread and Roses Cafe. The best quiche ever! The salads are delicious too! As well as the freshly brewed teas. The daily specials are especially good. I would recommend anyone to try this little gem in Tallahassee. I stop in every time I am in the area. The service is great and you will feel welcome.
Best Vegetarian/Vegan place in town!. The people who work here are super nice and friendly. Also all the menu items are extremely affordable and delicious! there isn’t anything on the menu over 7 bucks. I go here almost everyday and the food always comes out quick and made to order. If you haven’t tried it out yet you should! They are open Tues. through Saturday for lunch!
Best lunch in town!. I eat here a few times every week! The food is tasty and a great value. Some of the bread is baked on site, and they also have gluten-free options. The Josefina burger (made with black beans and sweet potatoes) is outstanding, as is the roasted veggie and herbed goat cheese sandwich. There is a new soup and a new quiche just about every day, and the servings are generous. If you are on FSU’s campus or downtown, you can even get bike delivery! That pretty much rules, because the vegetarian options on campus are a little sad.
