Kind of weird. Walked in and asked about banini lunch meal posted outside. The lady looked at my like a zombie and was like ok which one? I said, I don’t know.. which ones do you have? And she couldn’t answer me, so I had to go look at the sign.. I asked for the chicken bacon avocado, and received the chicken bacon spinach.. lol The credit card machine was down so they gave me my food for free.. overall just weird service. Food was really good and I’m not complaining bc I got it for free.. don’t think I’ll go back tho.
I recently visited Brooklyn bagels. The overall customer experience was very good and prompt. The cashier that helped me out and was very polite. I ordered a egg and cheese bagel. When I received the food it looked absolutely amazing. I was excited to eat the bagel. After a couple of bites though, I found pork chunks through out my bagel. I did not order meat with my bagel. I DO NOT eat pork whats so ever. I am a strict vegetarian who eats egg and cheese once in a blue moon. My diet is VERY important to me. I can’t remember the last time I ate pork. I was so disgusted with my bagel after I realized it was infested pork. I don’t like food surprises. I am so disappointed with this restaurant now. I contacted the Corporate company and they still have not contacted me about this issue.

Nice atmosphere, though a bit cafeteria like. The star of the show here are their bagels. Perfect bite of chewiness and generous portions and flavors.I live near Brueggers and will drive past it to get my everything.

I can only comment on the pizza there. I had the two cheese slices and a drink combo ($5.99). The slices aren’t too bad. But, they’re fairly small, and lacking in taste. if you’re looking to grab some pizza for lunch near campus, there are better options. Gaines St Pies, Mike’s Stonebaked, and Brooklyn Pizza all have similar lunch deals, except that the slices are larger and tastier (Gaines St Pies also includes one topping on each slice for the same price). I guarantee more satisfaction at any of the alternatives (both in terms of bang for your buck and food quality) than at Brooklyn Water Bagels and Pizza.
