Great food and friendly owner. Just found out about this place today and grabbed some lunch with my husband. The owner could not be any friendlier. He’s very excited about you being there.I had the pan con pollo combo which came with black beans and rice. The sandwich was simple but the flavor was wonderful.My husband had the arroz con pollo which came with bread and fried plantains. My husband used to eat fried plantains back in Africa, so I went to order some more. Carlos came back with not only the plantains, but he also gave us two free sides of yuca and roasted pork. By the end of our meal we both were about to burst!We will definitely be coming back. Mm-mm-mmmm!
Best Cuban sandwich.. Best sandwich pollo chicken. cuban is pretty good too.However it is better on the weekday than the weekends. Food is fresher on weekday. They are usually busy then so that may be why.
Best Flan in town!. Everything I have had here has been great! I’ve been several times and try to get something different each time. The Yuca con mojo is so delicious, one of the best sides there. The rice and beans as well as the maduros are also really good. I have never had a dish that I did not like. But you need to make sure to get the flan. Carlos makes it himself and it is divine. It is creamy and just the right amount of sweet. I always leave very full and satisfied. As far as prices I do think individual sides are a bit high, but completely worth it IMO. The sandwiches are well priced, especially considering that I am always very full after the half sandwich. The dinners are around 10 bucks, which I think is reasonable and even more so considering the amount of food you get. I have been telling all my friends to go there! Oh and Carlos is the friendliest, funniest guy!
Best real Cuban place in town. I love the veggie cuban. They use olive oil and plenty of veggies for a delightful mix of flavors on a flattened toasty bun. Very different from the veggie cubans at Habana’s or the Black Bean (although both of those are good in their own way). They have the tastiest black beans and rice hands down, definitely not an afterthought side. I really want to order something else but the veggie cuban and black beans call to me so strongly every time I can’t resist.
As the other reviews have said, it is a little pricy, but it is good. The empanadas are delicious, and so is the yellow rice.

Had an amazing meal at Carlos’ Cuban Grill! Roast pork, black beans, rice, bread, sweet plantains and yucca. All were perfectly seasoned and loaded with flavor. The hospitality and service was unbeatable. We will definitely be regular visitors!
