Good addition to Governor’s Square Mall. The Governor’s Square Mall food court needed a place like this for quite a while. The staff at Charley’s was hustling today at lunch. The grill tops are super clean and everyone is really friendly. I tried a Regular Chicken Philly with Everything (there are 3 sandwich sizes available which is nice) and regular fries. The Philly was pretty good, but heavy on the salt and the chicken is a shaved kind of chicken, not hearty chunks. The fries were a tad bit underdone for my liking. I’m interested in trying one of their other subs and one of the premium fries options (chili cheese, nacho, etc).Overall though it’s a welcome addition to the Mall which has had lackluster offerings for a while. williamkristoph.com
