I wasnt sure what to expect, but Tally is a bit of a culinary desert – there really should be more to offer. In any case, I give it a 3 probably because I went in with realistic expectations and a 3.5 doesnt seem to be an option. Food came out quickly, piping hot, and decent. Its not Lean Cuisine which is always a potential hazard at a place like this. No beer on tap, service is OK.

For the price under size portions.Mildly flavored at best.Ordered mixed drinks and waterNo refills of H2O.Other than the extra water in the mix drinks.Again…Always read the reviews first..

Had to check it out. Fun atmosphere and decor if you like kitchy bright colors, formica diner style tables and lots of info your face pop culture. We were in the back room with all the hub caps and interesting wall art. Fun to see the tortilla makers. Server seemed like a novice but she was sweet. You’re suppossed to get your choice of 2 different styles of beans and rice but she didn’t ask which we wanted. When I realized this and flagged her down (because I really wanted to try the Charro beans) I was told they don’t ask and just assume everyone wants refried beans and Mexican rice. Wt*? Food was probably a little better than expected. Combination #7-Chilli rellano was on point. Others in Tally seem microwaved. Veggie enchilada with squash was pretty tasty. Refried beans were awful-maybe the worst ever. They were like caulk. Or spackle. Gluey. Mexican rice was fine. I did like the Charro beans. It was nice to have another bean option. Sauces were all pretty good but the one that was suppossed to be hot was not hot at all. I can’t imagine going back to Chuy’s again unless I am with someone that really wants to try it but I am not completely opposed. La Tiendita does close early.

Waste of my hard earned money. Decent location, which will certainly be well utilized by the next restaurant that takes over when people get over the novelty of the new place and never return for a second visit. Let me list the issues I have with this place: The food – all of it was over-salted. This applies to the chips, re-fried beans, worse than out-of-a-box dirty rice, creamy jalapeno sauce, and combination fajitas, which was also delightfully over-cooked. The waitstaff – improperly trained to say the least. Our server both over-hovered when trying to get us to buy the pricey cocktails the minute we sat down and then ignored us after someone else dropped our food off without asking if we needed anything. The lack of attendance continued as I waited for about 5-7 minutes to catch anyone’s eye to request something to be able to enjoy the meal, and then waited again for our server to glance in our direction to see that we were long done with dinner and needed a box to take the leftovers home (which we only did so that it wasn’t a waste of $30 for fajitas) and then pay the check. Don’t even get me started on the tacky t-shirts you call a uniform, the inappropriately short shorts, improper tray-carrying (which will inevitably result in epic tray drops of people’s hot meals), the guy who wiped his nose with his hand coming out of the kitchen, and the over-fraternization in front of customers. The decor – it attempts to recreate the original in Texas, which came off as a life-long collection of original Americana, and comes in somewhere around mass-produced faux-kitsch vomited on every surface and throwing a dart at the loudest south-western-like tile book they could find while blindfolded and inebriated. Not one to be a total Debby-downer, the free salsa rocked. It was freshly made and spicy which was refreshing since most salsa is very mild. Also, good attempt at home-made tortillas – they were better than store-bought – but they aren’t quite there yet. Keep trying for as long as you last Chuy’s.04/2017 Update: Chips and salsa are decent but salty, grilled shrimp tacos were ok, husband’s fish tacos were disgusting…Tasted like an algae-ridden fish tank.

Not bad for a chain, I had the Elvis combo and the Wife had the beef burrito w/ tomatillo sauce, The food was pretty good and there were very large portions. The one thing I didn’t care for was the pulled chicken, which was very bland and rubbery, I think they boil it? Knowing Tallahassee, they’ll be gone in a couple of years…

This chain has lost something from Texas to here. The food my wife and I had here was over salted, over hyped, and over priced. I doubt we will return. 04/2017: Had a lunch here with co-workers, the food is still to salty.
