3 words. SUNDAY FRIED CHICKENThe place is always packed as with all CB’s all over the states no matter where you go. Meatloaf, Fish and Chicken & Dumplings are the best things to get here as well as that Sunday Fried Chicken ;)Staff do the best they can with what they are given (too much training, not enough teamwork) but always do the best they can no matter what.
Not the same. Noticed about two months ago this place was starting to decline. Food is not fresh how it used to be. Broccoli tasted like cleaning supplies. I would avoid it. At at loss. I’m at a loss to describe just how bad this place is. An order of chicken and dumplings with NO chicken whatsoever, another order that was colder than a witch’s you know what. That was accompanied by a country fried steak that was literally harder to cut through than shoe leather. Our server was quite polite, making sure to apologize each time he forgot to bring something. This place was bad when I was here last about a year ago; I didn’t think it could get worse, but shockingly it did. I don’t feel so good right now, think I’ll head for the bathroom-thanks Cracker Barrel!
Fresh clean and good. Services is generally good. Long wait Sundays and football weekends.
A tradition. We love this Cracker Barrel and Old Store. Very popular, so there is always a wait. Once you get to your table, however, the food will come out quickly. The staff is friendly and the food is always good. If you ever see pork roast or broccoli chicken cheddar on the specials, get one of those!!! So delicious. Breakfast menu available all day. Desserts are okay, but grab some candy on the way out. You’ll find some on favorites.
It’s a CB, and that’s About it.
