You will love this place. I absolutely loved eating at this adorable little cafe. Situated on the Goodwood Plantation, you just can’t ask for a better atmosphere. Perfect for a day date or lunch with the girls, this restaurant is delicious, charming, romantic and reasonably priced. Our waitress was friendly without being intrusive and our sandwiches got to us within 5 minutes of placing our order. You really can’t beat it.

Great Food and Atmosphere. We heard about the Cafe on Twitter, so some friends and I decided to check it out. It was such a cute little place! The menu had some great choices for salads and sandwiches, traditional and different, but we decided to order the Chef’s Features, Quiche Florentine, Grillades and Grits and Fried Green Tomatoes St. Anne. Needless to say, we devoured everything! The staff was very friendly, the food was fresh and flavorful and the portions were very generous. The chef even came to our table to describe the menu items! Afterward, we walked around the gardens. What a great way to spend a weekend afternoon! We will certainly be back!
Shrimp & Grits. Wow!!!! What a dish!!! I have had shrimp & grits from Charlestown SC to Savannah GA and these are by far the best I have ever had. Fanny’s is a unique lunch spot for Tallahassee. It is nestled in a beautiful, old Plantation Garden. The menu at Fanny’s includes fresh salads and wonderful sandwiches. There sign says they are starting to serve lunch on Saturdays *******YOU MUST CHECK OUT FANNY’S*********
Disappointing. I went here for the first time for lunch on a weekday. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant, and thought the layout was confusing. Only one server was on duty, and she took 15 minutes to take our drink order or even acknowledge us. My companion and I both had sandwiches. Her turkey sandwich was OK, but nothing special. I ordered a veggie sandwich, which was extremely greasy, to the point that I was unable to pick it up because the bottom of the sandwich was soaked through and dripping. Yuck! It’s too bad, because the bread was very high quality, and it was just ruined by all the grease! Because of the extremely slow service, dirty table, and greasy food, I cannot say I would recommend this place.
