Tasty. The fried Oreos were AWESOME!!..
Fat Mac Disaster. I ordered a grouper basket from Fat Macs, then waited over 20 minutes. I approached them after they called No:47 to pick up (I was 34) then I waited some more. (In the meantime I placed and received an order from ME Tasty Tacos). I approached FMs again after another 10 minutes + passed. The man inside grabs a to go box and fills it and hands it to me. I get home take a bite and it was chicken tenders (remember I ordered grouper) so I go back to Waverly Lake take it back to them whereby the man insist it was grouper. He didnt want to do the right thing and refund my money or replace the order. I threw it away because I was really concerned, since it tasted like no grouper I had in my life. Keep in mind I’ve owned boats, fished and been diving for grouper recreationally and commercially for decades before the laws changed on commercial fishing licensure. I know the taste of grouper and chicken. Basically, Fat Macs took my payment and did not honor the principles of good customer service. A refund at this point wouldnt make it right either. This is my opinion of Fat Macs and I hope they figure out how to do the right thing one day.
Food Truck Block Party. Found these guys at Status Liquors block party on a Tuesday. Had the Lil Mac combo: 2 ribs, pulled pork w/ bread, fried okra, and baked beans. The ribs were super meaty with a very unique and good kind of charred flavor. The pulled pork and fried okra was typically as good as you would hope. The baked beans had a very sweet taste to them, almost an apply flavor. I felt like I was eating dessert beans and I loved it. Peanut butter fried oreos were delicious. Perfect combination of flavor.
I just got some Ribs and Brisket WOW that is the tenders and flavorful meat I’ve ever eaten. If you find someone who can master both then you have a hit in my book!!!! They have a new location on w tenn. st across from boardwalk apts. Go try for yourself and don’t forget the homemade side items!!!
