Very disappointed….. We were very disappointed that Fired Up Pizza did not have the courtesy to let us know that they would not be attending our event, even though they agreed to. My partner said they were quite nice while she was making the arrangements. Then they never made it to the venue for a preview, never called or emailed and basically just blew us off at the last minute. No time to find someone else. We had 175 people looking forward to some good food. Customer service is so important. Too bad Fired Up Pizza doesn’t get that part…
First Time…. Writing this is more than a bit agonizing. I was so curious to look at the truck itself, that I wasn’t prepared for sub par pizza. The atmosphere was so festive, the whole vibe was so great. I was really impressed with this once a week food truck scene.The owners were at the register, and were really delightful people. I just don’t really know how to describe the pizza other than what I imagine bad carnival food to be like. The crust was very much like a pastry, and someone cared enough to make a braided edge. The toppings were about chain quality, and it’s just ironic that they expend energy to burn wood to cook this. The part about being able to do wood fired pizza from a truck is great, but I have a feeling that no real study went into the product. The Thursday events as a whole are great.Also, I’m not sure about their hours, and would check the facebook site before seeking them out.
