Great ox tail, horrible customer service. I have eaten here several times because I love ox tail and don’t know any other places in tally that serve it. The only reason I eat here is because I love ox tail. If I could get it somewhere else I would. Every time I have ever been here the customer service is absolutely horrible!!! To the point that it is even awkward, it is so horrible. I keep hoping one day it will be better, but it never is.
The customer service is the worst. Every time I came there I had a bad experience. The taste like its a day old. The women who work the counter are extremely rude. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I was wrong today January 22,2014, once again. The T.V. was blasting in my ear while. I was trying to order. The clerk yelled at me telling me I wasn’t talking loud enough. Never again will I spend another dollar in this place. The management says nothing about the treatment of customers.
Don’t be misled!! A majority of the votes for this restaurant were voted by the restaurant itself. I’m a true caribbean and the the food here is horrible. They have some things on some days but most days they are out of the side dishes before 3pm. They run out of cash (change) on a regular basis. The staff is also very rude. They act as if you can’t go anywhere else so they can have an attitude with you. The food is not well seasoned, the rice is hard, and the chicken was not cooked all the way through. I have been to this restaurant a few times hoping they would get better but I have always been disgusted. Beware!! False advertisement.
Okay Caribbean. I’ve been to Jamaica and I know you can’t really compare food in the home country to that over here, but I was not impressed, all that aside. The rice and peas were dry and the curry goat seemed watered down. Where’s the curry? I’ve been a couple times to the Pensacola location to try and give it a chance, but if I really want some tasty Carribean, I check Glen’s Island Retreat in FAMU’s new gym. Oxtails, rice and peas and jerk chicken are always good!
Good food. Get the oxtail. Rice n peas are great. Definitely don’t go to the one on Pensacola st
It’s alright if you’re trying new things. The one on Macombe is okay, but the one located on Pensacola is disgusting. I mean, if you want to try Caribbean food go to the one off Macombe street.
