Great chicken fingers and sauce. The coleslaw was fresh and tasted great. The fries were also fresh, seasoned perfectly, and crisp. The chicken was juicy, fresh made and ample in size. I was seriously full afterward. A bit of a wait in the drive through. The price is reasonable, I will defiantly go back.
Remodeled, Remade. The W Tennessee st store has been renovated, Been eating there since they opened, but had stopped for awhilebecause it had just gotten nasty. But, they have fixed that and Happy Days are Here Again! Best Chicken Fingers Anywhere!
The New Location on Monroe is Great. I wasn’t a fan of the Tennessee St. location since my college days. Dirty. Old. Surly service. But late at night, it worked. That all changed with the new location on North Monrore. Walk up and order at counter, name called, pick up gut-box. The chicken fingers were hot and fresh- and delicious. The sauce has always been killer too. I’d put them up there with Zaxby’s as far as best chicken fingers.
I had a Guthrie’s box, which came to about $7. I had to wait in line for like 10 mins at the drive through. The box came with 5 chicken fingers, Texas toast, fries, and gut sauce. Toast was great but chicken fingers were unimpressive. Too much breading, too small, and not enough meat. The fries were delicious though, best part of the meal. Gut sauce was overrated. Overall I didn’t really care for it. I might go back for fries but It was a waste of time, money, and calories.

Horrible Customer Service. On month back we tried to pick up two boxes. One box was missing the bread and the other fries. Really Guthrie’s? You make ONE thing. This isn’t NASA. Then when we went back to get it corrected we couldn’t get anyone to wait on us at the counter. We asked for a manager and they couldn’t find one. This past weekend we decided to give Guthrie’s another try. We sat at the drive through for 15 minutes and no-one bothered to ask us what we wanted. We drove around and went inside. We stood at the counter for 5 minutes and NO ONE bothered to help us. Two vehicles after us did not get served at the drive-through either. When a manager was asked for they said it would be a 10 minute wait. REALLY? When we asked how to contact the owner the staff said they didn’t know how to contact the owner. Now granted, this is not the place you go for good service (For that you would go to Shula’s 347). However, you still have to provide SOME service!
Use the Drive Thru!. Don’t bother going inside… and if you must, avoid the bathrooms at all costs!
