  I do not give a lot a bad reviews, but I cannot remember waiting this long for food in quite some time, if not ever. The main part of the restaurant was almost empty, and the hibachi portion not even half full. My wife, a vegetarian, asked the waitress about the base they use in one of their noodle dishes. She couldn’t answer the question. My guess is she didn’t speak English well enough to understand what we were asking. I understand you have to expect that at ethnic restaurants and that wasn’t the problem. The problem was she excused herself to get someone else to help and we waited another 15 minutes for that person. She answered the question and we ordered. About 15 minutes later, they brought out one salad and one miso soup. Aside from the long wait, we ordered 2 miso soups and 3 salads!. I complained to the manager, 10 minutes later, they brought out 3 more salads and 3 more miso soups!! The lady next to us, came in 20 minutes after us and was being served her SUSHI already (sushi usually takes a while). How long should it take to make house salads and miso soup!?!?! Then another 10 minute wait and they brought out the main course. We were there for an hour and 45 minutes!! The only thing they brought us quickly was the check! This was a horrible experience and would not recommend.

  This is my fiance and I favorite Sushi places in town. The lunch special is a bargain at $7.99 for 3 roll and soup and salad. This family owned restaurant is always friendly . Our favorite is the Rainbow or spider roll ( buy one get one free) is the way to go. You need to order a special roll and you can receive a regular roll for free. 🙂

  Took my wife here at her request last week. There are a few coupons out there but you don’t save as much when you have to buy two drinks to get a half-priced hibachi dinner (you save about $4). We arrived around 6PM on a Saturday and had to wait a half hour for a hibachi table, then when we were seated it took almost another half hour for the chef to arrive. Our server was okay but the drinks did not come out very fast. I will say that the food was worse than last year, it was very salty and we both found it hard to eat. The amount of chicken, beef, etc that you get here is very small compared to the rest of the food, mostly rice and noodles. We were both sick shortly after finishing our dinner, so never again!

  The food here is good and the portions are large, but it is a little pricey. Not as busy as the other hibachi places, so this is our go to place for hibachi now.

  This is a great family owned business. We recently stopped here on our way through Tallahassee. Almost all of the employees are family. The food was good and the restaurant was clean. The prices were reasonable and the staff very friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

  Great Food and Great Service. We eat at Japinica quite often, and absotely love the place. The suishi is fantastic, and we’ve never had anything that wasn’t fresh. The staff is extremely attentive, and make sure to get things right. The lunch specials are the best in town, and the suishi rolls that are bogo offer a great variety.Great happy hour drink specials and awesome food will keep you coming back.

  The scallop Hitachi was very salty. The waiter got my initial order wrong. Not the greatest experience.
