A faux pas execution of sushi, literally an execution of sushi! An over use of wasabi with their nigiri, as in a large clump between the rice and fish of every piece they served, was done intentionally to cover up their piss poor cuts of fish. Such a shame because they have the presentation down pat and great service.

Well… Raul is the reason I still go to Jasmines. I ordered a few times solo, now I just ask to make me something good… He ask what I don’t like and then makes me the perfect combo of Raw and roll….(don’t come if your BrokeGo to Mac D’s …The only bad I can say is there was some creepy OLD Latino guy in their last time I was there hitting on my 19yr old daughter…. WTF. The sushi is always fresh!!!! So I will deal with the occasional creep…. Jason, Bucko and peanut also make the visit well worth any wait or weirdo traffic. It is a college town!!! I Jaz because of the artistry and character. Thanks To the owner for having a Vision he sticks 2.

I won’t be going back to this restaurant. The prices are fair. I didn’t like that my sushi was served on a porous wooden board. The sushi was just OK, nothing too special.

Not sure why people said the service is bad. It was downright Southern hospitable when I went. The waitress was very attentive. The sushi was good and the atmosphere was lovely. They also have a great beer menu with wonderful happy hour specials. Maybe the people who gave the bad reviews are just snooty or whiners. This place is a very solid restaurant and worth a return visit.

Both my boyfriend and I ordered the $10 sushi deal. It came with miso soup and a salad. The miso soup was beyond salty. The salad tasted like the bag of lettuce you can buy at a supermarket, not terrible, but nothing special. The sushi was as bland as ever. It was also tiny, and it seemed like they had put as little filling in it as possible, so it tasted primarily like the rice. The rice was bland, too. The soy sauce tasted weird. To top it off, we both ordered glasses of wine. The wine wasn’t even served in a wine glass. It was served in a small champagne-type glass–and we had to pay $6 for each glass. Also, it seems like they’ve tried to fit too many tables in such a small space and, as a result, it was crazy loud. The server seemed like he was serving too many tables at a time. Would not recommend. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Horrible. Ordered take out…should of known to check the order. Missing rolls and sides. The rolls that I did recieve were horrendous, I could not believe they would even serve that quality of raw fish. I will never return to this dump of a restaurant.
