Is it me or does the meat taste flavorless. I’m thinking that is why they give you so much on a sandwich. To distract you from the fact it is a cheap deli meat with not much going for it. The bread is usually good tho- The salad bar is prob.ably the strong item on the menu. After 4 trips, Ive decided there are much tastier places to grab a sandwich.
The food here is good and there are some nice healthy choices on the menu. They always seem to have plenty of staff on hand, because they do stay busy. Consistent quality food.
We enjoy your deli and look forward to coming there when we are in Tallahassee.But, it will be a while before we go back again.On February 26 we stopped for lunch at about 245pm. It was a cold and dreary day.My husband had hip surgery so he was looking forward to lunch.He had the special seafood gumbo and pastrami sandwich.It was horrible.Gumbo taste and pastrami tough couldn’t chew it.I had the tuna melt it was missing something.salad bar great.very disappointed.Our bill was 23.45.Do not mind paying for a great meal.NOT this time.The staff was accommodating and courteous.I not sure if the time of day makes a difference.We have had these combos before and they have always been awesome.My poor husband was so disappointed. Salad Bar. Salad bar is really the best here, but it has it off and on days.
Quality Control Needed. I like Jason’s Deli, but when ordering the Taco Salad at the drive-thru I have found a small sharp plastic piece of debris in my salad several months ago. Yesterday the taco salad consisted of all broken tortilla chips and not one chip was not broken. Then they put the hot chili in a bag that can only be held sideways. They need to train their employees to put a hot chili/soup in an upright bag or a bag with handles. How could corporate let little things like this slip through? Being that these problems are so avoidable and happen so regularly the training from corporate must be lax and not up to par. Come on Jason’s, I am trying to like you, but you need to step up the quality control.
So Glad It Opened up Here. I love JD, and I’ve never had bad food there. The soups and sandwiches are always fresh, and the only negative is that I finish everything even when I’m already full. Love the Club Royale and the French Onion Soup.
Best Tuna Salad. Good vegetarian options. Best tuna salad in town.
