Love Them Crabs!. This was a great place to eat! The food was outstanding! We will definitely return. Yes, the food is served in stryfoam containers but that has no bearing on how great the food is. The portions makes this an outstanding value and the food still tastes great! We had fried crabs & garlic crabs both dishes were awesome! We had the cheese grits, corn, & potatoes for the sides. One member if our party had the combo platter with shrimp which was equally as good. We will be back again. The location on Tennesse was clean, friendly staff. The location on Orange is really for take-out only.
Food was okay, but not a great experience. I ordered the garlic shrimp, and while the portion size was decent and it tasted good there was no indication that the shrimp would come with the shell on. That’s not a huge deal but I probably would’ve ordered something else had I known. They charged me 25 cents for water in the tiniest plastic cup imaginable (I only noticed it on the receipt after I sat down), and for several people in my party the food took forever to be ready. The french fries were okay, but not crispy enough in my opinion.
I recently ate here for the first time. The restaurant is new and clean. I liked that the menu was simple and affordable. I love when you can pick up your order and clean up after yourself to save on tip expense. As far as the food goes it was good overall. The portions of fish are good. The shrimp serving is small but they were tasty with garlic sauce. I think they should include two sides with meals. I’d really appreciate if the plain white bread they served with meals was buttered and toasted. Overall a good choice for quick easy tasty affordable fried seafood.
Delicious for the price. Cheese grits are the best I’ve had in town, and changed my opinion of fried seafood. Definitely give this fairly new business a try!
Love that garlic sauce. The fried shrimp and red potatoes are my favorite, especially because I hate fussing with crabs!! The pound cake rounds out a perfect meal!!!
