Hidden gem in Tallahassee. Consistently great food, friendly service. Prices are reasonable for what you get–everything is fresh, creative, large portions. I work nearby and eat there often for lunch. Acoustics are good for conversation.
Creole Benedict. Crab cake, poached egg, hollandaise, English muffin. The best breakfast in town. If that’s a flavor profile you enjoy, you’ll love it. Little pricey for breakfast, but you’re getting crab and pure awesomeness. It’s worth every penny.
It was good to just OK. Certainly, if you are staying at the hotel Duval and don’t want to repark, it’s a very good option. Like the rest of the hotel, the cafe is very stylish. We found the service to be very attentive and friendly. However, some of the dishes on the menu are truly excellent while others are just adequate. Certainly, it’s a safe choice for the morning after a romantic night out.
