I really wanted to like it, but the cupcake was bland and crumbled as soon as I started to unwrap it. The chocolate frosting was sweet but nothing special. I got the chocolate caramel bacon cupcake. At $2.50, I expected more. Save your money and go to a better bakery.
GREAT CUPCAKES!!. I was first introduced to L&L’s in about a year ago by my sister and have been there 6-7 times since with my husband. We even chose them do cupcakes for our wedding in lieu of a wedding cake. Our favorites include Chocolate Express and Red Velvet.
I Enjoyed Lucy & Leo’s Cupcakery. I am an avid baker and I appreciate the good taste and complexity of the cupcakes at Lucy & Leo’s Cupcakery. Very classy. I especially enjoy the cookies and cream and red velvet cupcakes. I requested cupcakes from here for my birthday last week rather than a traditional cake. I had the lemon-blueberry. Wow..Fantastic. Keep up the good work. I have nothing bad to say. I wish you well. Please note: my 15 month old grandson will be visiting and I plan to take him there everyday!!! See you soon
Very Nice Atmosphere. The atmosphere at this place is very cute and quiet. The cupcakes are good but may not be to my particular taste. I prefer a icing which isn’t quite so heavy but the flavors were excellent especially lemon blueberry. I would like to see more exotic and interesting flavor combinations.
I’ve had 2 different cupcakes from this place, and I’ve given up. The flavor is bland, and they are way too overpriced…it’s a cupcake that honestly isn’t all that great. I agree with a previous reviewer, the cake is SO dense. The frosting is so thick and overpowering, it just doesn’t mesh well. The kind of cupcakes I like are light, fluffy, tasty, and satisfying. The ones I make are better, and I can make a whole batch of 24 cupcakes for the cost of 2 cupcakes there. The store is very cute! Wish I could love it, but I don’t see myself spending money on these 🙁
The cupcakes are delicious. The icing taste like ice cream. I will visit again on my next trip to Tallahassee
