Went to Masa last night for a date night with the wife. Have to say I was impressed. Everything was cooked perfectly and had some great flavors. They were pretty busy, but we had our food within 5 minutes of ordering it. The server was attentive and really Sweet. With so few decent finer dining options in town, We will definitely be back.

Food was great. Love the atmosphere Service was good. We got our food quickly and there was a lot of it If you sit in a booth beware it has no cushion so do not sit down hard. LOL

Super good food but horrible service. Slooooow wait staff. Took 15 min to get a drink order and an hour to get food. If you are on lunch hour, skip it. If you have all day, then by all means, eat here.

Go to Kitcho. We tried Masa and I won’t go back. It was crowded so we had a seat at te sushi bar. Unfortunately for me the amount of fish in the Crispy spicy tuna roll was much less than the other rolls of the same kind that the chef’s were making. When we nicely brought it to the attention of the staff we were told that it was the same amount. Then she walked away. I wish I had a picture!! It was also very clear that the men’s bathroom had not been cleaned in days. We will stick with Kitcho from now on. It is apparent that Masa is too busy to care about their customers!

Great Asian food and atmosphere. One of my favorite restaurants in town. I have never been disappointed with the food here, there is a great variety of Chinese dishes, sushi, Thai-Vietnamese, etc. Service was only disappointing once in about two years, so another plus. The prices are good for the quality of the food ($13-$18 is comparable to a chain place like Carrabba’s, BJ’s, Friday’s etc). It can get a bit crowded, but I’ve never had to wait very long to be seated with a party of four or less. It is never too noisy or hot like some places can be. I am not a big sushi fan but tried it one night at Masa and was very pleased with the presentation and taste of their Volcano roll and California roll, which are good alternatives if you don’t want to eat raw fish. For hot entrees I would definitely recommend the Crispy Mango Beef, Coconut Curry Chicken and Mongolian Beef. The fresh onion, garlic and mango used in these dishes is so flavorful and the sweet and spicy flavors are balanced nicely in Masa’s dishes. I have been told that Masa is relocating to where On the Border was, at Lake Ella. If so, another review will be on the way.
