Dairy-Free options rock!. Honestly the best meal I have had so far at Mellow Mushroom has been with their Daiya Vegan Cheese. I ordered the Mega-Veggie pizza with this cheese substitute and it was so good! I think their prices are a little expensive, but I would pay it again for the chance to actually eat pizza on a dairy-free diet! The waitress could’ve been a little more knowledgeable about allergen and nutritional information since the restaurant is known for their vegetarian fare; frankly, she could’ve had a more positive attitude in general. All in all, I am a happy customer!

Be careful here. Damn near everything on the menu is beyond overpriced. The only thing worth getting here is a pizza, thats about it. Everything else is the most basic ingredients you can imagine, that you can make at home yourself for an 1/8th of the cost.

I ate at Mellow Mushroom with some friends last weekend at around 8. The wait wasn’t too bad, around 20 minutes before we were seated at a table. My friends ordered calzones and I ordered the pretzels as an appetizer for the table and a Greek salad. The service was very slow and and it took almost an hour for the calzones and salad to arrive. The calzones were fine but my salad, the simplest thing on the menu was so lazily done. The lettuce was barely chopped almost like a wedge salad and it was covered in coarsely chopped vegetables making it difficult to eat. The pretzels were apparently burned and didn’t get to the table until we were done eating. I definitely won’t be going back.

Good Food, Not so good Service. Pizza was probably the best thick crust chicago style pizza Ive had in Tally. The reason I went there is I had a 20dollar gift card. I will not be returning, especially dine-in, because I dont think the little waiter girls and boys take too well to people that arent the same ethnic background as them. In other words if your the minority inside the restaurant, opt for take out, the pizza is great!…..A YEAR LATER I have returned, and the service was great, and the waiter girls and guys were really nice. Highly suggest visiting this place. One dollar PBR’s all day every day.

Foods great, service is great. The women were classy and thank god we can see the guys in the kitchen if you know what I mean 😉

Not our favorite pizza in Tally but we still like it. Consistent and a lot more non pizza items on the menu than most which for us makes it more kid friendly. Good diverse selection of draft beer.

Good calzones. If you like cheezy soft chewiness. Fresh pizza is good too, but avoid the slices. As with most places, they are re-heated and not nearly as good as a fresh pizza. The chicken topping is a little franchisy, but the crumbly sausage is pretty hard to beat in this town.
