This is the second time I’ve been here, didn’t write a review after the first trip but I remember thinking it was just ok. But I went back with coworkers and the Brie n’ bacon was a really good grilled cheese, great flavor profile, and the balsamic fries were amazing. I’m glad I gave it another shot, not a bad lunch spot!
Let me start of by saying I throughly enjoyed my experience at Mervs and the food was awesome. However, that was at the capital Circle location. Today my boyfriend and I wanted Mervs so we drove to the capital circle location only to find out that it had been shut down permanently. I live near capital circle and refuse to drive all the way to All Saints District to eat at Mervs. I hate that side of town and having to deal with all of the students that inhabit it. I cannot tell you how throughly disappointed I am that they shut down the Cap Circle location. They were always busy and had a lot of business so I am a little confused as to why they closed down. I guess I won’t be eating here again and that is a shame. R.I.P Mervs.
