Never Again. My husband and I hadn’t been to the Ale House in quite sometime and decided to have lunch there today. What a mistake that ended up being. My husband had the seafood combo which had no flavor and he said he felt like he was pouring oil down his throat the more he ate his food. I had the, seafood medley which looked awesome when it arrived at the table only to find looks can definitely be deceiving. The food was bland (no flavor whatsoever), I had to put so much salt on it just to make it worth trying to eat. The clams were under cooked, I gave them to my husband thinking it was me but he actually had to take them out of his mouth because they were that bad. One of the mussels was not popped opened which caused me to have to try and stab and pry it open with my fork..to no avail. Our waitress was just ok I guess you could say, although half way through our meal a group came and sat at the table behind us and their waiter came over and welcomed them and let them know they had Prime Rib nachos appetizer which we knew nothing about as our waitress never mentioned that to us. We paid our bill left and told ourselves this was a true lesson learned that we gave it another try but it won’t happen again!

The service was excellent. Freindly and atentive. Unfortunatly the food was flat out awful. Obviously prepackaged tastless. Good place to drink, bad place to eat. Avoid this place unless you’re just thirsty.

Best calamari around Tally! This place was a pleasant surprise and had a lot of great options. You could be craving pretty much anything and find it here!

Dissapointed. Update 8/23/13: After some of the higher-ups saw my review below they contacted me and very graciously sent 2 $25 gift cards and apologized for the poor experiences. I was encouraged to return and since I appreciate the fact that they wanted to make it right, I did. Today I went to lunch there with 2 co-workers and intended to use one of my gift cards. I ordered the zinger salad. When my coworkers food came out, I was assured my salad was on its way and they gave me my salad dressing. After about 15 minutes my waitress came up and said my order was never put in and she apologized, offering me a free dessert. She said they just started cooking the zingers and it would be out soon. Another 15 minutes passed (my coworkers were long finished with their meals) and my salad comes out and she then said my meal would be comped. I left with a free meal and a free dessert, but I also left with disappointment. While I appreciate that Miller’s attempts to right their wrongs and doesn’t pass the buck, this is just one mess up too many. Perhaps I have the worst luck in the world when it comes to this restaurant, but I will give someone else the gift cards to use. This used to be a great place to go for lunch but my last two visits have ensured I won’t be returning. The first time it took so long for them to bring my food out that I ended up having to take it to go to get back to work on time and the server continuously forgot to bring things out that we requested (extra napkins, drink refills, parmesan cheese). Today I ordered the chicken sandwich and it came out promptly. I ate half and brought the other half back to work. Didn’t realize that the half I took back is almost completely raw. The inside is pink and slimy. Not worth the money anymore.

Second try was the charm. The manager kindly reached out to us after a terrible previous experience. We went back for lunch today and I was very impressed. The server, Brittany, made the experience even better. She suggested an entree that was not on menu, and it was outstanding! The restaurant felt clean and comfortable. Keep it up!Previous review: I really wanted to like this place, but did not. When I walked in, it smelled like the bathrooms vent was being blown on us. Our server was okay, but she kept filling up my husband’s drink and leaving mine empty (I had to ask a few times to fill me up). I wanted the food to be good, in spite of everything else, but it wasn’t. I ordered the mini burgers with onion rings. The O.R. were average but the burgers were less than par. I paid extra for cheese and it was the size of a 1/4 a slice on each burger (did not cover the meat), i got very little sauteed onions and the bread was hard. Come on, you guys can do better than that.

TERRIBLE. This is our first and last time at this hole. My daughter and I got fish and chips and my wife got shrimp scampi. The fish and chips were SWIMMING in a pool of grease on both of our plates, so much so that the fries were soggy with grease. My wife was able to eat the shrimp from her meal but the pasta and sauce were unedible with cold congealed butter and oil. On a good note we did get fried calamari as an appetizer and it was the best we have had. So for $50.00 we got an appetizer……….NEVER AGAIN

My friend and I decided to try out Millers for the first time the other day. We walked in the door and were promptly greeted by the peppy hostess and seated. Our server, Megan was so friendly and did a great job helping us decide what to chose from the huge menu. I decided just to go with a salad, but my friend ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich that was delicious. With two salads, a sandwich and a few beers, our bill was only $20! Hard to beat!
