One of my friends recommended this place to me so I wanted to see what it was talking bout. The BBQ was really good. I had the ribs and chicken combo. The meat was tender. Wasn’t dry at all but the star of the show were the collard greens. Literally the BEST collard greens I’ve had in Tallahassee. Curbside is still my favorite barbecue place in town due to the lower prices and portion sizes but Mr. B’s has put itself in second place and will be seeing me again.
As a retired Naval Officer who’s had the opportunity to visit some of the best BBQ regions of our great nation. Mr. B’s raises the bar. The service is top notch and you can be assured of two things on each visit. A pleasant greeting and BBQ that will make you want to return and tell others. It’s a place that everyone from legislatures to college students and everyone in between will enjoy. My only compliant is that Mr. B’s isn’t open seven days a week. Best BBQ I’ve ever tasted.
